A Moral Story on Dishonesty ‘ The Dishonest Hand’
Here is a short moral story on dishonesty. | Story on ” Honesty is the Best Policy”.
A thief was once brought before a king. He was charged with having made a hole in the wall of a man’s house and stolen jewels from there.
The thief fell to his knees in front of the king and wept piteously. Then he said, “You’re Majesty”, I am a very poor and honest man. I have never committed any sin. But this hand of mine has taken to wicked ways.
It has been guilty of all kinds of misdeeds. I have often been disgraced because of its wickedness. It is this hand that made a hole in the wall. The jeweler was also stolen by the hand. I am absolutely innocent.
King listened to him patiently and said, ” Yes, I agree with you and you deserve all pity. But your hand must be punished. Your hand will have to go to prison for five years. You can stay outside of prison.
Moral of the Story :- Do not be oversmart. ” Honesty is the Best Policy”.
बेईमानी पर एक लघु कहानी ‘बेईमान हाथ’
यहाँ बेईमानी पर एक नैतिक कहानी है। | हिंदी में “ईमानदारी सबसे अच्छी नीति है” पर कहानी।
एक बार एक चोर को एक राजा के सामने लाया गया था। उस पर एक व्यक्ति के घर की दीवार में छेद करने और वहां से गहने चोरी करने का आरोप लगाया गया था।
चोर बहुत चालाक था।वह राजा के सामने घुटनों के बल गिर पड़ा और फूट-फूट कर रोने लगा। फिर उन्होंने कहा, “महाराज”, मैं बहुत गरीब और ईमानदार आदमी हूं। मैंने कभी कोई पाप नहीं किया है। परन्तु मेरे इस हाथ ने दुष्ट मार्ग ले लिया है।
यह सभी प्रकार के कुकर्मों का दोषी रहा है। इसकी दुष्टता के कारण मुझे अक्सर बदनाम किया गया है। इसी हाथ ने दीवार में छेद किया है। इस हाथ से जेवर भी चोरी हो गए। मैं बिल्कुल निर्दोष हूं।
राजा ने धैर्यपूर्वक उसकी बात सुनी और कहा, “हाँ, मैं तुमसे सहमत हूँ और तुम दया के पात्र हो। लेकिन तुम्हारे हाथ को दंड देना होगा। तुम्हारे हाथ को पाँच साल के लिए जेल जाना होगा। तुम जेल से बाहर रह सकते हो।
मोरल ऑफ़ द स्टोरी:- ” ईमानदारी सर्वोत्तम नीति है”।
