Answer) Saheb was a rag picker and as stated by the author, he was searching for ‘gold’ in the garbage. Gold here can mean any yellow metal or anything valuable to him like old clothes, shoes, bits of metal, plastic scrap, stray coins and currency notes.

Answer) Saheb’s full name is Saheb-e-Alam which means ‘lord of the universe’. But in reality, Saheb is a poor boy. He is a rag picker, roams barefoot, and scrounges the garbage dump for his livelihood.
Question 5) How is Mukesh different from others?
Answer) Mukesh is a rebel. Even though he is born into a poor family which makes bangles and has not received any education like other children but unlike others his spark has not been extinguished. He dreams of a different life and wishes to become a motor mechanic.
