Good Morning, Respected Principal, teachers and my all friends
Happy Independence Day to all, and welcome to Independence Day Celebration at our school.
Firstly, I thank god that I am born in an independent India and salute all the martyrs, jawans, leaders, and people who lost their lives to attain this day.
As we all know that now India is an independent country. We live a life full of our rights like the right to speech, the right to education, etc.
But almost seven decades before, life was completely different. Life was full of fear. India was under British rule. British almost ruled India for more than 200 years. We were treated like slaves.
India formerly was known as “Sone ki Chidiya” or Golden bird due to being full of resources, assets, minerals, and spices. Britishers used their “Divide and Rule” policy to rule India. We were being tortured and captured in our own country. They used all resources of India for their own benefits and the people of India were forced to live the life like slaves.
The worst condition of India and its people was the main reason for the freedom struggle. Many freedom fighters came forward to unite the people of India. They didn’t care for their lives. Many are hanged, prisoner, and martyred during the fight against British rule. Many prominent leaders were Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, and Lala Lajpat Rai, etc.
After a long road of hardship, struggle, and losing hundreds of precious lives, India finally got its Independence on 15th August 1947. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of Independent India. He hoisted our tricolor flag on Red Fort and gave speech. Since then, India celebrates Independence Day all over the India.
On this day, we remember the sacrifices of our forefathers, freedom fighters, and martyrs to make India an Independent country. Independence is the most beautiful and precious gift, we received from our martyrs.
This day is celebrated in India with great pomp and show. Schools, colleges, Institutes, Government, and private offices organize many cultural programs to make this day memorable. A parade takes place in Delhi at Red Fort.
Independence gave us the freedom to move, speech, education, and many more. Now it is our responsibility, to become responsible citizens of India, to take care of the cleanliness of our surroundings, helping people in need, and following rules and regulations.
During the pandemic of Coronavirus disease people of India showed that they are united and helped each other in crisis. Many people of India selflessly helped the needy and poor.

सुप्रभात, आदरणीय प्रधानाचार्य, शिक्षकगण और मेरे सभी मित्र।
सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं, और हमारे स्कूल में स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में आपका स्वागत है।
सबसे पहले, मैं भगवान को धन्यवाद देता हूं कि मैं एक स्वतंत्र भारत में पैदा हुआ हूं और उन सभी शहीदों, जवानों, नेताओं और लोगों को सलाम करता हूं जिन्होंने इस दिन को पाने के लिए अपनी जान गंवाई।
जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं कि अब भारत एक स्वतंत्र देश है। हम अपने अधिकारों से भरपूर जीवन जीते हैं जैसे बोलने का अधिकार, शिक्षा का अधिकार, किसी भी धर्म का पालन करने का अधिकार और स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार आदि।
लेकिन लगभग सात दशक पहले, जीवन पूरी तरह से अलग था। जीवन भय से भरा था। भारत ब्रिटिश शासन के अधीन था। अंग्रेजों ने लगभग 200 से अधिक वर्षों तक भारत पर शासन किया। हमारे साथ गुलामों जैसा व्यवहार किया जाता था।
संसाधनों, संपत्तियों, खनिजों और मसालों से भरपूर होने के कारण भारत को पहले “सोने की चिड़िया” के नाम से जाना जाता था। अंग्रेजों ने भारत पर शासन करने के लिए अपनी “फूट डालो और राज करो” नीति का इस्तेमाल किया। हमें अपने ही देश में प्रताड़ित और कैद किया जा रहा था। उन्होंने भारत के सभी संसाधनों को अपने फायदे के लिए इस्तेमाल किया और भारत के लोगों को गुलामों की तरह जीवन जीने के लिए मजबूर किया गया।
भारत और उसके लोगों की सबसे खराब स्थिति, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम का मुख्य कारण थी। भारत के लोगों को एकजुट करने के लिए कई स्वतंत्रता सेनानी आगे आए। उन्हें अपनी जान की परवाह नहीं थी। कई लोगों को फाँसी पर लटका दिया गया, और कई को जेल में डाल दिया गया और कई ब्रिटिश शासन के खिलाफ लड़ाई के दौरान शहीद हो गए।
स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के कई प्रमुख नेता महात्मा गांधी, जवाहर लाल नेहरू, सुभाष चंद्र बोस, भगत सिंह, सुखदेव, राजगुरु और लाला लाजपत राय आदि थे।
एक लंबे संघर्ष के बाद, और सैकड़ों कीमती जान गंवाने के बाद, भारत को आखिरकार १५ अगस्त १९४७ को अपनी स्वतंत्रता मिली।
पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू स्वतंत्र भारत के पहले प्रधानमंत्री थे। उन्होंने लाल किले पर हमारा तिरंगा झंडा फहराया और भाषण दिया। तब से, भारत पूरे भारत में स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाता है।
इस दिन हम भारत को एक स्वतंत्र देश बनाने के लिए अपने पूर्वजों, स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों और शहीदों के बलिदान को याद करते हैं। आजादी सबसे खूबसूरत और अनमोल तोहफा है, जो हमें अपने शहीदों से मिली है।
भारत में इस दिन को बहुत ही धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को यादगार बनाने के लिए स्कूल, कॉलेज, संस्थान, सरकारी और निजी कार्यालय कई सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हैं। दिल्ली में लाल किले पर परेड होती है।
स्वतंत्रता ने हमें भारत में कहीं भी जाने, भाषण, शिक्षा, और बहुत कुछ करने की स्वतंत्रता दी। अब यह हमारी जिम्मेदारी है कि हम भारत के जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनें, अपने आस-पास की साफ-सफाई का ध्यान रखें, जरूरतमंद लोगों की मदद करें और नियमों का पालन करें।
कोरोनावायरस बीमारी की महामारी के दौरान भारत के लोगों ने दिखाया कि वे एकजुट हैं और संकट में एक-दूसरे की मदद करते हैं। भारत के कई लोगों ने निस्वार्थ भाव से जरूरतमंदों और गरीबों की मदद की।
