Teacher’s day, 5th September is around the corner.
Here is a speech on Teacher’s day in English for students and children for classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 11, and 12.
Good morning to all the teachers and my dear friends.
I wish all my teachers, Happy Teachers Day, and thank them for showing us the path of knowledge and wisdom. Teachers are an integral part of everyone’s life.
We all know that how important our teachers are in our lives. Teachers play a major role in molding a child’s personality, character and overall development.
After parents, teachers are the people who inspire and influence us. We spend a lot of time with our teachers. Every student listens to the advice given by his/her teacher and follows their teachers. Teachers are role models for the students.
5th September is the day when all students wish their teachers for their contribution in building their lives, lit their lives with knowledge, and removing ignorance. We celebrate Teachers Day to show our gratitude and respect for our teachers.
It is also the birthday of great Indian teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan was an Indian academic, professor, philosopher, and politician.
He was the second President of India. He believed that only education can change a person’s life and he himself was a scholar. When his students wanted to celebrate his birthday, he emphasized, dedicating this day to honor the whole teaching profession. Therefore, his birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher’s Day.
Teachers share their knowledge, teach us, and want the best for us. They help us grow and learn without any expectations.
Teachers are the backbone of a country who helps the nation by instilling good moral values, the value of discipline, teamwork, hard work, and ethics from the beginning in children and making them good and responsible citizens for the future.
Teacher’s day is celebrated in all schools, colleges, and educational institutes. Teachers are honored with gifts, flowers, and thank you notes. Many programs are organized to celebrate Teacher’s Day. Many schools, colleges, Educational Institutes, and the government honor the best teachers for their contribution to education with trophies and prizes.
And last but not the least, I thank all my teachers for their tireless efforts, motivating & guiding us on each step of our lives, and helping us to achieve our goals in life.
